This project page is for the people of Nipa, Poroma and Kutubu in the Southern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea. It is to record the dying traditional 'bilas' of these indigenous people and their local languages for oral recording.
These dancers are from Bosavi in the Pimaga District of Lake Kutubu, Southern Highlands Province. The performed their traditional dances to celebrate the Aiio Primary School opening in the Lower Fasu area in Kutubu. Picture by Peter Kinjap.
